Universar Auto 55mm f/2.8 - decentering testQuick tests to assess decentering
Photos taken with the lens Universar Auto 55mm f/2.8 at maximum aperture (f/2.8) using a Fujifilm XA-2 and a Viltrox focal reducer. The RAW files were processed in Photoshop with default settings, unedited. The image on the left shows the reference center, while the four square photos display the four corners (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right).
Only the bottom right is okayish; the other three are very poor, especially the top left.
I repeated the test using a tripod this time, achieving more or less the same results, as expected.
